With a rich heritage dating back to 1796, Givaudan is one of the oldest and most respected companies in the fragrance and flavor industry. Headquartered in Geneva, France, Givaudan retained HQW Architects to assist in the expansion and improved manufacturing capabilities of their International Trade Zone facilities.
The 31,300 sq. ft. addition includes 2 floors primarily devoted to the operation of 2 new German engineered compounding robots. These automated machines are fed through a series of over 700 stainless steel pipes from a 2nd floor material storage area. HQW and facility engineers worked extensively throughout the project to redevelop the existing facility layout in order to maximize productivity and increase employee safety.
