Blair Academy’s Annie Hall girl’s dormitory was designed not only be state-of-the-art in terms of functionality, but would feel residential in scale and have an architectural harmony with the older buildings on campus. Completed in 1999, the dormitory is home to 40 female students and four faculty members. Residents benefit from a large two-story entertainment area, a student lounge, and a multi-media room. Four faculty apartments included in the design provide family style living for the teachers in charge of supervision and support for the students. Constructed of masonry and steel with a stone and brick exterior and a slate roof, the new dormitory is one of the more prominent buildings on the Blair Campus.
